“Had the most wonderful stay here over the weekend. Michelle was a lovely and welcoming host. The vibe of the motel was really great as it is an adults only motel, so it was very chill. Gorgeous pool spot for a swim, and our room was so comfy… the shower was amazing, best water pressure. Super comfy bed. Thank you Michelle!!”
“I have been on the road for 8 days around Victoria and the Happy Wanderer Motel has been the best value so far. I was met with a warm hello. The room was spotless and had everything in it that I needed. The price (and I won’t mention it here) was exceptional. There is a reason they are booked out most nights. Don’t be put off by the main road frontage. This place is a gem and I would love to return next time I’m in Bendigo.”
“We were very lucky to get the last room and lucky to have caught owner as she had stuff going on. Warm, friendly service. Great value for money Some rooms have been renovated. Pool and extra towels given if we went for a swim. Has everything you need for your stay. 18+only so if your looking for quietness highly suggest this motel. Thankyou for your hospitality.”

“Well situated for my journey. Very kind advice and directions to get to room and parking given . Very clean . Lots of towels including pool towels. Air conditioned and a ceiling fan in bedroom too. Very comfortable stay. Good selection of tea and coffee and kettle n toaster , fridge in room. Cutlery and plates n bowls for foods too. Glad l chose here.will return when need to break journey from Melbourne to Swan Hill. Thank you”
“In Bendigo on business for 5 days. Loved my stay at the Happy Wanderer, lovely and quiet and easy access. Travelling alone, I felt a little vulnerable but I felt safe as houses there. Owners are lovely and the place is really nice and relaxing. Highly recommended”
